Your gift to the Trail Conference is doubled through Dec. 31, 2020.

The Trail Conference has achieved several tremendous successes through 2020’s unprecedented challenges. That is only thanks to you.

Your gifts helped us build and grow a new digital engagement platform that enabled more new volunteers than ever before to receive training. With your support, our Trail Stewards reached more than 100,000 hikers at the most popular trailheads in the region, helping them enjoy their newfound passion and understand their impact in nature. Your support made it possible to eradicate high-priority, emerging invasive populations at multiple sites in the Lower Hudson Valley in spite of a shortened work season. Your time, energy, and financial gifts helped restore historic trails in Harriman State Park, and blaze new ones throughout northern New Jersey.

Your donations, quite simply, allowed the Trail Conference to continue operations.

We could be sharing a very different story right now if it weren’t for our supporters’ investment in the protection of great outdoor experiences when we all needed it most. Can we count on you to keep the momentum going?

The truth is, we are still facing gaps in our budget. To ensure there are no gaps in your ability to experience the rejuvenating power of trails, we are asking you to be as generous as possible in giving to the Resilience Fund through our December Challenge.

Our Board of Directors has once again stepped up to ensure our vital work continues: They are matching all donations to the Trail Conference (up to $115,000), one-to-one, now through Dec. 31. Whether you give $1 or $100, your gift will be doubled!

We expect the increased usage of trails to continue to rise in 2021. That means trails and natural areas will need the care and attention of even more Trail Conference volunteers and service members to remain safe and enjoyable. Because you value the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing found in nature, we are asking you to be a leader in the protection of great experiences outdoors by donating through our December Challenge today.

Our ability to remain steadfast in our mission not only this year, but for the last 100 years, is thanks to supporters like you. Your partnership now will ensure we continue to be successful in helping people connect with nature tomorrow, next year, and for generations to come.

Thank you for your generosity!
