Thank you for posting this hike. I didn't know there were so many trails north of the reservoir.
The features you see on this hike are terrific, and the way that they occur when traveling in this direction is very nice. However, the turnoff from the Four Birds Trail (white) onto Winnebago (yellow) is VERY easy to miss. This is the junction AFTER you turn:

If you were hiking in the opposite direction from how this is described, the Winnebago Trail would end at Four Birds, so, no chance of getting lost in that direction.
As noted in the description, the Orange Trail can be quite eroded at times. It made me think of the little girl with the little curl right in the middle of her forehead (when it was good, it was very very good, but when it was bad it was horrid). However, it was only horrid for very small distances.
The hike description doesn't actually tell you when you are on Indian Cliffs. When you're at the viewpoint overlooking the reservoir: that's Indian Cliffs. :-)
I did this trail on a rainy day in spring before anything was growing, and it was still gorgeous. Here are more photos:
