Join the Mahwah Environmental Volunteers Organization, Inc. (MEVO) crew as they partner with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference to build and maintain sustainable trails!
The MEVO Crew will be using hand tools and elbow grease to improve sections of trail surfacing on the Reservoir Loop in the Ramapo Valley County Reservation. This will involve removing sizeable rocks and building holes back up with dirt and gravel crushed on-site.
All tools are provided and new volunteers are welcome – we’ll teach you anything you anything you need to know on the job.
Come prepared with sturdy shoes, long pants, lunch, and water. If you have your own gloves, safety glasses, hand saw, clippers, or other trail tools, feel free to bring along.
