Frustrated by pesky vines and weeds growing on your property or in a natural area that you enjoy recreating in? Want to learn how to better ID and report invasive plants in our region so that a management plan can be put into place?
Come join Invasive Species Citizen Science Coordinator, Brent Boscarino, for a guided invasive plant identification walk just outside of the New Weis Center for Education, Arts & Recreation to help brush up on your field plant ID skills. You will also learn how to become a part of our Invasives Strike Force Plant Survey community science team! For any current Invasives Strike Force Plant Survey volunteer who attends, we will also review the ISF Plant Survey data collection procedures and review how to use both the Avenza Maps and Seek by iNaturalist apps. This walk is open to all members of the public. Registration is required to attend
