Looking for an adventure before the Volunteer Appreciation Event? Join us before the festivities for a hike co-led by Volunteer Leader Chris Connolly and Trail Program Coordinator Peter Dolan at the New Jersey Botanical Gardens to celebrate the achievements of our volunteers.
This 1.5 mile hike will showcase one of the major volunteer accomplishments from 2019: the new reroute and trail features on the Crossover Trail built by a team led by JORBA Crew Leaders and Trail Conference Volunteer Trail Supervisors Art and Ellen White. After the hike, join us for a hot lunch, games, and an awards ceremony to celebrate our volunteers at the Volunteer Appreciation Event at Skylands Manor.
We will meet at the Carriage House at the New Jersey Botanical Gardens. Parking Lot A is located next to the Carriage House and Parking Lot B is within walking distance.
