The 2952-acre Rockaway River Wildlife Management Area is in the rugged Farny Highlands on the eastern edge of Mahlon Dickerson Reservation north of Lake Hopatcong. The Beaver Brook Trail beginning in Mahlon Dickerson Reservation extends into Rockaway River WMA

Directions to Mahlon Dickerson Reservation: From I-80 exit for Route 15 [north]. Proceed on Route 15 [north] 5 Miles to Weldon Road Exit - Take Weldon Road and travel approximately 4 miles east. The reservation is on both sides of the road. |
