Monsey Glen County Park
| Park Overview: | The Glen is a tract of land with a full growth of verdure covering many walking trails. It contains scenic natural beauty with sandstone overhangs. Below, a stream flows to the southwest. Plant life is unique since the glacier bypassed the area. It is one of the few places in the Rockland County where Trailing Arbutus grows. |

| Park Description: | This park contains several sandstone Native American caves where numerous artifacts-some over 3,000 years old-have been discovered. These artifacts are now archived at the Trailside Museum at Bear Mountain. A series of steps cut out of the sandstone rock-the purpose of which is unknown-leads to a platform. |
