Park Description:

The 150-acre Flat Rock Brook Nature Center, nestled in a suburban area on the western slope of the Palisades, was founded in 1973 to protect open space in Englewood and provide environmental education for both children and adults.

Trails Overview:

There are 4.0 miles of marked trails, including a short wheelchair-accessible boardwalk near the parking area -- the boardwalk leads to a pond, part of a  former rock quarry.  "In the Park" tab on the park's web site displays a trail map [see Contact Information]

Directions:

Take NJ 4 to the Jones Road exit in Englewood.
