Crafting an Accessible Trail

Over the past ten years, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and a number of its affiliated Trail-maintaining clubs, with the support of several state and federal agency partners, have purposely sought to extend those opportunities to include visitors with disabilities — especially people with various mobility impairments, including wheelchair-dependent visitors.
