Byram, Stanhope and Hoptacong take a hike

The Tri-Community Trail Link, which connects Byram, Hopatcong and Stanhope in New Jersey, opened September 18, 2010. The paths connecting each town are approximately 1 to 1.5 miles in length but also lead to many more miles of hiking and biking paths in the area.

Six miles of the stretch are co-aligned with the Highlands Trail which reaches from the Delaware River to the Hudson River.

Brenda Holzinger from the NY-NJ Trail Conference worked to map out and see to the construction of the walkways and bike paths.
