Found Sunday, Jan. 8 on Wilcat Mtn Trail going north from Rt 17/17A park and ride.

Carried it down and left in on an embedded branch next to the trail shortly after the

trail leaves the wide old road heading north from the parking area.

I was hiking the Hudson Palisades and somewhere btwn the Woman's Federation Monument and the Giant Steps my camera fell out of my bag. Last photo I remember taking was at the Monument when I put it back in my bag. There are only a few photos on the camera. 

Its a Canon G11 that was in a black case. I back tracked looking for it as well as stopped back at the Palisades Parkway Police station there in the hopes maybe someone found it and turned it in. I know its a long shot but I didn't have the camera long and I am upset about losing it so I am trying everything I can think of to put my info out there in case anyone finds it.

Ladies Conte of Florence blue wool  hat (baseball style) lost on the trail starting at Stillman Spring up Storm King Mountain on the Blue Trail.  Lost November 25th.  If found call 914-924-4249 and ask for Robert or email hudeagle@verizon.net.

Was hiking the TT/1777W/1779 trail north of the creek. On a trail marker nail on a tree someone has hung a set of keys. They are located SW of the intersection of Mine Rd and Wildwood Ridge, just after the small stream crossing. They look like they were hung there fairly recently.

 

There was also a fairly new pair of Vasque trail running sneakers in the woods near this location closer to the creek. If they belong to you, I might be able to send you some GPS coords of their location.

On 10/17/2011, found a piece of camera equipment on Plateau Mountain in the Catskills.  This was on the rock overlook facing southeast and looking toward Sugarloaf.

I found a pair of children's prescription eyeglasses along the Menomine Trail (Yellow trail)  in the Silvermine Lake area.  I  taped the eyeglasses to the entry booth board  at the SilverMine Lake parking lot.  9/21/11.  They are in perfect condition.

On july 7 i lost my silver bracelet on the NY AT.  I believe it would have been near the beginning of New York AT Section 10 going south to north (i.e., from Tiorati Circle/Arden Valley Road). It would have been under a half-mile onto this section of the Trail itself that this would have happened, not far at all. 

  
The bracelet is a simple cuff-type, with engraved edges on both sides (i.e., not completely smooth).  Inside the bracelet is (i think!) my name (Cynthia) and maybe my husband's name (Carl), and i believe my birthday too (11/24).  I've had it a long time, and i haven't looked at the inside in so long, i am vague on what was actually there, but i'm remembering it was a birthday present those years ago.  It is of course special to me.

I lost a pair of Leki trekking poles on Seven Lakes Drive, about a hundred feet or so from the Reeves Meadow visitor center. I rested them on a rock along the road about 2:30 pm on Sunday April 3, 2011 and forgot to put them in the car. They are Leki Makalu poles and I would love to get them back as I use them regularly. Any information will be appreciated.

I lost my dog Janie while hiking at Sterling Forest State Park in Tuxedo, NY on 3/19.  We are looking for volunteers to help look for her this SATURDAY MARCH 26th.  Janie is a 4 yo gold retriever mix, 50 pounds.  She is VERY afraid of strangers.  If you see her, please do not chase her.  We are hoping to get a spotting of her so that we can try to catch her with a dog trap.  Janie was last spotted at the NE corner of Sterling Lake.  I'll be at the the park all day on Sat. You can stop by the visitor's center for more info or email me.  Thanks!  Kyla

I found a pair of rather nice trekking poles in a snow bank at the parking lot at Silvermine Lake, Harriman State Park, on Sunday afternoon, February 6. They can be retrieved from The State Park Police Hdqtrs at the Bear Mt Administration building.
